We started this fundraiser during the fire season in 2021. We found that our community could be better prepared in emergency management and preparedness. We have been hard at work ever since. In 2023 our preparations paid off and our team was able to work collaboratively with BC Wildfire Service to help defeat the Ross More Lake Fire K22024. It is now 2024, and we are preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.

In late 2023 we formally formed the Knutsford Community Response Society, a not-for-profit registered under the BC Societies Act. Training events, communications equipment, pumps and hoses, there are a lot of things that need to be funded each year.

We thank everyone for their generous support and hope we don't need to use the resources we are developing this year.
