Dear Knollwood Residents and Friends,

The Knollwood Playground Association, Inc. is an IRS approved non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization created to maintain the Knollwood neighborhood playground.

Our current wooden playground equipment is nearing 40 years of wind, rain, hail, sleet, snow and sunshine. It has served its purpose well entertaining kids and families for generations, however, it is now deteriorated and at the end of its lifespan.

I am happy to report that we are more that half-way to our financial goal to order and install a shiny, new, safe neighborhood playground. We still need your help though and hope you will consider contributing to our 2024 fundraising efforts. We cannot do this without your financial support. New, safe playground equipment will not only ensure the safety of children, it will make our neighborhood more valuable and attractive to young families and be an asset to your Knollwood home when you go to sell.

The Knollwood Playground Association, Inc. will continue applying for grants and holding neighborhood fundraisers throughout spring. Our goal is to order and install the new equipment by early summer with the funds we have at the time. A fun ribbon cutting ceremony will be planned for the entire community plus all donors, so we can introduce our beautiful new equipment and thank you for your support.
