Knocklyon & Castlefield challenge inappropriate development

Section 179A takes away the voice and input of the people into planning decisions that materially impact their area and quality of life. This fundraiser is to provide monies to be able to challenge the decision of South Dublin County Council to build unsuitable accommodation in an area that isn't fit for purpose as it is contrary to the SDCC County Development Plan. The only means of challenge is by way of Judicial Review. This fundraiser aims to provide funds for this purpose.

As part of this fundraiser, we are aiming to raise €30,000 to cover legal fees. However, we need to raise the first tranche of €13,000 by the 5th of September 2024. The suggested amount to donate is €150 per household, however if you aren't in a position to give this, please give what you can.
