Knitting for everyone diagnosed with blood cancer

Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm taking on the Knit Every Day in June challenge to raise life-saving money for people in the U.S. living with blood cancer.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has been a big supporter of my scientific career - I was awarded their postdoctoral fellowship at the beginning of my postdoc, which really helped kick off my research on cell signaling and gene expression in cancers including leukemia. Especially now, given the cuts to federally funded research, it's important to support organizations like LLS that support scientific research and advocate for cancer patients.

$25 helps fund an episode of The Bloodline with LLS, a free podcast series that provides information to patients and caregivers.Every dollar goes towards driving forward the search for a cure. Whether you donate $5 or $50, every little bit helps.
