Help Us Lay Our Brother Edgar Anaya to Rest
On Tuesday, July 22, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. Our beloved brother tragically passed away in a car accident, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and strength—and most heartbreakingly, his four beautiful children: Alexander, Anthony, Humberto, and his cherished little girl, Layla Anaya.
We are heartbroken, and as we try to process this devastating loss, we are also faced with the unexpected burden of funeral expenses. We’re reaching out to our community for help in giving him the farewell he truly deserves.
He was more than just a father—he was also a loving son, a devoted brother, and a loyal friend. He lived with a giving heart. Every Thanksgiving, he gave away free turkeys to families in need, and during the holidays, he held toy drives for children in our parents’ hometown in Mexico. He also opened a boxing gym where kids could train for free—giving them a safe place to grow, gain confidence, and stay off the streets.
Known by many as Veneno, he was an incredible boxer, admired for his talent, dedication both in and out of the ring. But what made him truly special was his heart. He always showed up for others—no matter who they were or what they needed.
Now, we humbly ask for help on his behalf. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will go toward honoring his memory and helping care for the children he left behind. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your love, your support, and your kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
With love,
