Hello Kennisis Lake community members. Our names are Kevin and Janis Cochran, and we have been on the lake for 4 years now. We have grown to absolutely love this lake and community. One of the biggest and most valuable assets to this lake is the Kennisis Lake Marina and their amazing staff members. The countless hours that are invested by the staff on every weekend to make sure there is some form of event and entertainment is incredible. This kind of dedication to the lake only boosts the value of our cottages. Anyone who ownes a business will know how incredibly hard it is to hire and keep great staff, while creating and maintaining a fun and positive work environment. We started a GoFundMe last year for the staff to provide them with a bonus for their hard work all summer and raised over $1900. We are doing the same this year, so anyone on the lake may donate an amount of their choice to the staff. Most of them leave for school soon, which is why we do this, at this time of year. We understand that the world is a little more expensive then usual but if possible even a $5 donation can add up if we get enough people contributing. Our family will kick it off by donating $200, but any amount is appreciated.
