Here goes nothing... Long story short, I had a baby with the wrong person. My son and his mother lived with me in 2023, and I had her locked up for domestic battery against myself. When she got out, she went back home to Colorado, and I had my son all to myself. Then she came to "visit," and while I was at work, she took him and fled to the airport, flying back to Colorado before I was even off work. I went to the courthouse and started filing paperwork immediately. Well, fast forward about a year, and she has not done one single thing the judge has asked of her, but due to her being across the country, there isn't a whole lot the courthouse can do about the numerous contempts. We made a parenting plan which included me having FaceTime calls with my son every single night! Well, here we are, 5/9/25, and it's been 21 days since I've seen or talked to my baby.

The parenting plan also laid out that I am to have my son every summer. Well, when I told her that I will be there on May 30th to get my son, she ran to her courthouse in CO, and they granted her a protection order despite me having an open case here in FL. The protection order includes me not being able to contact her or my son. Now the plans to have him for the summer have been ruined.

If you know me, you know that my son is my absolute world, and this whole situation is completely crippling for me. I have searched and called and called and called trying to find a lawyer, but as known to many, they are very expensive. This is the reason for this page. I don't expect to really hit my goal, but I know every penny that I will, could, or might receive will go straight to hiring an attorney to get my baby back.
