Help Otley Medieval Society Get Back on the Road!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are reaching out to our wonderful community for help in a time of need. Otley Medieval Society, a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to teaching and preserving medieval combat, archery, craft, woodworking, and more, has encountered an unexpected setback.

Last week, our van—a crucial asset that enables us to transport our equipment to workshops, shows, and events—was broken into. The damage was extensive, and unfortunately, our insurance will not cover the repair costs. The police suspect local children to be the culprits, so

this leaves us facing a substantial bill of over £2500 to get the van back on the road.

As volunteers, we give our time and energy to bring history to life for people of all ages. This van is essential for us to continue our mission. Without it, Otley Medieval Society will struggle to operate, which would be a significant loss for our community.

We are humbly asking for donations of any size to help cover the repair costs. Every pound counts and will bring us one step closer to getting back on the road. Your generosity will directly support our efforts to educate and inspire through our unique programs and events.
