Living Expenses and Funeral Expenses

Update: On May 4, 2024, Asher passed away. He fought so hard for the past three years and even harder for the past two months. Thank you all for your prayers and donations.

My name is Sara and I am raising money for my brother, Cody. His five year old son, Asher Fotheringham, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the age of three. He defeated it and was in remission for 14 months. Last July, his cancer came back. In October, 2023, he had a bone marrow transplant in hopes that it would help him live a longer cancer free life. However, the tranplant brought a lot of complications. Organ failure, 3 weeks in the PICU, Host vs Grafts Disease, Cushing's Syndrome, plus more. He has fought so hard and we thought he was going to get to come home, but his cancer decided it wanted to come back with a vengeance. On March 8, 2024, his bone marrow results showed 60% Leukemia cells. There are no more treatments, no more options for him except to make him comfortable at this time. They gave him a couple of weeks. Cody took a lot of time off work to stay home and be with Asher and his siblings during this time. Feeding 4 kids adds up quickly.

During this heartbreaking time, we also have to plan for Asher's funeral.
