Hi! I'm Erin and I'm currently a speech language pathologist working in a kindergarten through 12th grade center school for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities and autism spectrum disorder. I LOVE MY JOB. During graduate school, I worked full-time as a preschool teacher for kids with autism. I fell in love with behavior, my students and the connection between language and behavior. Since then, I have been learning professionally and sharing my knowledge with anyone who will listen (thank you to all my friends and family who listen to me daily). As many of you know, ever since graduating with my masters I have wanted to volunteer in Africa. How amazing that I found a place where I can share my autism knowledge and passion and work with amazing little humans. I will be volunteering for 4 weeks at Woodfield Manor Autism School in Ghana in July and I could not be more excited. With that being said, volunteering is not cheap. Not only will I be paying for my flights, accommodations, and food, but I plan to bring donations for the school, including toys, crayons, games and other materials. I am eternally grateful for any monetary donations, well wishes, and shares. Literally, anything helps and I am so lucky that I am in the position that I am in :) THANK YOU SO MUCH
