Hi, my name is Mariah, and I am funding for my father Artie. On 7/26/22, he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer, adenocarcinoma, which spread to his brain and adrenal gland. Our lives were turned upside down when we were hit with this diagnosis. We knew it would be a long road ahead, but we were grateful to have a game plan and a team of doctors ready to fight.

He was admitted to the ICU that Tuesday and then had brain surgery to remove the mass on Friday. When he was ready, we started radiation treatment on his brain to get the rest of it out. Now he is on oral chemo to attack his lungs and adrenal gland.

My dad is strong and a fighter even while going through this. He is happy to have his family and friends by his side. We are now getting hit with hospital bills from the stay/procedure, and the estimates of what we will owe after insurance are a lot. My dad tried going back to work but quickly realized he was physically not able to work while undergoing this treatment. This is just a base to help us cover the bills, doctors appointments, and further treatment. Any amount is appreciated, and please keep him in your thoughts/prayers while he fights this.
