Kiwanis Club of North Shore Long Island has successfully supported many children’s charities throughout the years. 

Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Our local club foundation account, which is a 501 (c) 3, focuses on:

·      Klothes for Kids (shopping for back-to-school clothes for at least 20 children) with the now added Koats for Kids, supplying children with a new warm coat for the winter

·      Cohen’s Pediatric Trauma Center

·      Kiwanis Children’s Fund

·      Holiday food baskets and toys for those in need

·      Momma's House

·      Supporting local food banks

·      Kamp Kiwanis (sending 5 children annually)

·      Monthly high school student recognition

·      Scholarship awards

·      Kiwanis Pediatric Lyme Disease Foundation

·      Salvation Army bell ringing

·      Services for the handicapped

·      Kiwanis Worldwide Service Project

·      Sponsored Youth Clubs (we now sponsor five)
