Kiwanis Club of Maui Foundation is raising funds to assist those who continue to be impacted by the wildfires that devastated the communities in Lahaina and Upcountry Maui on August 8, 2023.

We are excited to share the news of a heartwarming initiative by the Kiwanis Maui Strong Committee in partnership with the Maui Ocean Center. We invite you to join us in making a difference in the lives of the Keiki’s of Lahaina who were impacted by the devastating August 8th wildfire.

The Kiwanis Club of Maui, Kiwanis Club of the Valley Isle, and Kiwanis Club of Kahului have united their efforts to organize a Toy Drive for these deserving children between the ages of 1 and 17. Together, we can bring some much-needed holiday cheer to the affected families.

Here are the ways you can get involved:

1. Donate unwrapped toys: Between November 10th and December 10th, you can drop off unwrapped toys at the following locations:

2. Giving Tree - Maui Ocean Center and the Maui Beach Hotel: The Maui Ocean Center and Maui Beach Hotel has also set up a Giving Tree for guests and residents. Your contribution will brighten a child's holiday season.

3. Tax-Deductible Cash Donation: If you prefer to make a monetary contribution, tax-deductible cash donations are being accepted here at the Kiwanis Club of Maui Foundation's GoFundMe page. All GoFundMe donations between November 10th and December 10th will be used to purchase gifts for the Keiki’s of Lahaina.

The gifts will be wrapped and distributed to the Lahaina families at the Maui Ocean Center on December 17th, between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm, just in time for Christmas.
