Many thanks to everyone who supported our previous fundraising campaign! We are incredibly grateful for your donations and hope you will be able to continue your generosity.
This summer we are raising funds to improve the girls' dormitory. There is currently no bathing area and only one latrine (there is no running water). Additionally, the plastering of the outer walls of the girls' dormitory needs to be redone. Your donations will go towards creating a shower, replastering, new mosquito nets, and building a second latrine!
Dormitories are extremely important as many children do not have a home to stay in or cannot travel the long distance to and from school on foot each day. Please help us give these children a chance at an education.
Kirwanyi Primary School is located near Seeta Nazigo, Uganda. Seeta Nazigo is a small village in rural Uganda and Kirwanyi Primary School is the only school in the large area surrounding Seeta Nazigo. The school overflows with children and there is a real lack of teachers, materials, and space. Many of the children arrive at school hungry only to be given a meager portion of porridge, which is all the school can afford.
We are taveling back to Uganda in July and your contribution will go directly to the school. We cannot thank you enough for helping to make dreams come true.
