Kirby Spivey Jr Scholarship Fund

Kirby Spivey Jr, 79 of Newtonville, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5th, 2021. Born in Bronx, NY, he moved to Newtonville, NJ in 1968. Kirby worked as a draftsman and was a proud entrepreneur of a landscaping business. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, and helping whenever he could. Kirby was fun, down to earth, kind and always enjoyed a home cooked meal.

Education was something pivotal in Kirby's life and he instilled it in all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kirby was not able to finish at Delaware State University and ensured all of his 4 children received degrees. To honor his memory his surviving family would like to create a scholarship fund to honor his legacy and continue to encourage the next generation to pursue higher education.
