Christmas Tractor Run 2020
The Kinvara Community Defibrillator Project is a voluntary group that install, maintain and provide training for AEDs installed at 8 locations in Kinvara.
Our AEDs are installed for the benefit and use of all members of the community and have proved vital in lifesaving events in recent years.
Our weekly inspections and maintenance program aim to keep all AEDs and cabinets fully operational and up to date.
The cost of maintaining the equipment is high and continuous, with replacement of obsolete cabinets, batteries and pads, all of which have a limited lifespan.
With current COVID restrictions our training is suspended as are our normal fundraising events.
To keep our equipment up to date, we depend on and are grateful for funds raised within our community.
