For 5 days now sweet Kingston has been in a medically induced coma at the BC Children's Hospital, following a simple surgery that went very sideways.
Kingston was born with a very rare genetic disorder. Within hours of being born Kingston and his parents , Samantha and Morgan, were airlifted to Vancouver Children's Hospital. He has had many surgeries already in his short life. Surgeries have been completed for his heart, craniofacial surgeries and reconstructive surgery for his hands and feet. Others were to help with breathing and to help stabilize his eyes.
Samantha and Morgan live in Penticton and are commuting back and forth to be here in Vancouver with Kingston, and try to make money to do so. They are trying to keep their other son's life as 'normal' as possible while his brother in in hospital. Both of Kingston's parents are self-employed. His Mum, Sam, had to go back to trying to work just a couple of weeks after he was born and his Dad, Morgan, can not work anymore and is trying to juggle the home demands in Penticton and here in Vancouver. This income is not near enough to get them through the year.
With all the pressures my friends are experiencing, I'm hoping to offer some financial help. I'm reaching out for any support that can be offered. Words can not express how much we appreciate any help to alleviate this already very difficult situation.
Thank you!
