Hi all, anybody else fed up and frustrated with the amount of litter around the streets?

well my children and I are so my 6 and 8 year olds have been helping me litter pick regularly.

we are part of a small group of people - Kingstanding litter busters who have voluntarily been litter picking in our own time.

we would like this group to hopefully grow so I’ve set up this page in hopes of raising some money for litter picking equipment - sticks, gloves,hoops etc.

Depending on the amount raised we will stretch the money to plants / bulbs for in and around Kingstanding area.

My 6 year old daughter asked ‘mommy why don’t people use bins for rubbish’ ?

I literally couldn’t answer her as I don’t know - so any extra funds will be donated to my children’s local school for resources / tools to teach the children about the affects that dropped litter can cause.

This is obviously a long term project that won’t happen over night but we are trying to make our area a nicer place to live so any donations however small would be greatly received and we would like to thank u in advance.

Individually we are a drop but together we are an ocean.
