On Monday 23rd March 2026, at the LPC meeting and in agreement with the public meeting 7 days previously, the agenda point 'to consider the options with the aim of vehicle speed reduction in the Parish and give further instruction'. was voted on. A Speed Indicator Device (SID), two further surveys to help prove a need for an extension of the 30mph speed limit to the Kings Stag sign at the North end of the village was approved. :-)

As a community to help fund the two additional surveys we are looking to raise £495.00 to cover the cost of the two additional surveys required. One survey is to prove the need for the extension of the 30mph speed limit zone and the other to check the speeds of vehicles from Hazelbury Bryan into Kings Stag.
