Kings Park Skatepark community fund

Alright shredders,

This is Tom writing alongside Darwin and Spencer, we are hoping to raise money to help maintain and improve the best park in the BCP area = KINGS PARK.

(I personally refuse to acknowledge rivers as BCP).

Our main goal, is to push for additional investment into kings. We are working towards begging funders for a flat-ground extension to kings. We think most people want to see some new life added to the park, even just some benches would be nice.

I think Kings park is an important part of Bournemouth for both skatepark users and young people in general. The council are not in the best financial position to maintain or improve the skatepark, so we are going to help pick up the slack.

The funds donated here are for two purposes.

1. They will be used when required to pay for materials for maintenance and improvements to the skatepark.

2. Funding organisations like to see evidence of community interest in potential projects. Via events, surveys and fundraising we can evidence the wider community desire to see kings park improved.

Because of this, even the smallest donation is a great help, it shows a member of the community who supports the improvement of the park enough to put some money down.

We have set up a community interest company, Friends of Kings Park C.I.C., with the sole purpose of improving and maintaining Kings Park. All money this go-fund-me takes will be put into the CIC account, so feel confident knowing Darwin cant spend it on more heroin decks.
