Support Kings Heath Concorde FC

Kings Heath Concorde FC is a grassroots football club affiliated with the Birmingham FA, with many of its teams playing in the Central Warwickshire Youth Football League (CWYFL).

The club is run by an amasing group of volunteers and is based in the West Midlands, UK.

They provide a safe space for many children under the age of 18 to get off the streets, get involved in football, develop transferable life skills and realise their full potential, both on and off the pitch.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the club has taken a big financial hit and has been struggling to recover ever since.

The club is important to the local community. It gives children something constructive to do that they are passionate about, it provides them with a positive community and promotes a healthy social identity, it opens up opportunities and most importantly, it keeps them safe.

Kings Heath Concorde FC strive to make the membership affordable for parents who may be living on the breadline and without this effort, many parents on low income would not be able to access clubs like this for their children, which can increase the risks of children being vulnerable to gang affiliation, criminal behaviour and substance misuse as they naturally seek out a sense of belonging, sometimes in unhealthy places.

Each year, the club usually purchases uniform jackets for all the players and gives each player a gift of money on their birthdays, but this year, sadly this has not been possible.

One donation of £35 would buy one child their jacket. If 100 people donated to cover one jacket each, then every child would get a jacket* (*excluding gofund me fees). This alone would mean so much!

Kings Heath Concorde FC also need to maintain the pitches and cover other vital expenses too.

This is going to take a community effort!

Giving to this fundraiser is more than just giving. It is investing in the future of our youth and of our cimmunity. It is understanding that it really does take a village to raise a child.
