Kinfolx Art Auction

Hey folks! 
This is the fundraising page for the Lil Art Auction for Black Femme Activists.

Earlier this year, I founded Kinfolx, a digital media project, and online community fund focused on supporting grassroots efforts led by black women and girls. Women of color lead organizations in every corner of human rights and social justice activism but only receive a tiny fraction of overall philanthropical funds! So the goal is to help close that funding gap while also getting average folks involved in philanthropy and mutual aid. Our fundraiser is to benefit a few organizations (100% of funds to split between them):


Intersectional Environmentalist 
An effort aimed at dismantling systems of oppression in the global environmental movement.  They identify how injustices happening to marginalized communities and the earth are interconnected. It “brings injustices done to the most vulnerable communities, and the earth, to the forefront without minimizing social inequality.”

Afro Future Youth 
A Detroit youth initiative offering space and resources to adolescents to build a new, more equitable world through an Afrofuturist, healing centered framework.

 
UndocuBlack Covid 19 Rapid Response Fund 
Emergency funds and healthcare for many of the black, undocumented "essential" workers on the front lines of the pandemic
