Hi everyone,

My name is Kyrmina, and I live in Boston, where the weather can change in an instant. I often find myself giving umbrellas to people caught in the rain, or wishing I had one to offer, and that small act of kindness sparked an idea.

I want to make it something bigger, and get the community involved with helping me raise money to give out umbrellas to those who need it. I’ll start with a goal of $350, which will go directly toward buying double-canopy umbrellas which are strong, wind-resistant, and compact. I hope to give them to people in Boston, and anywhere else I go. I plan to increase the goal as time goes on so this project can continue to grow and reach more people.

Each donation helps someone stay dry, comfortable, and reminded that kindness still exists. If there’s any money left after purchasing umbrellas, it will be donated to a trusted organization or community program that helps people in need.
