Meine Name ist Sandrine, und ich möchte euch heute eine Geschichte erzählen, die mir sehr am Herzen liegt. Es ist die Geschichte von etwa 50 Kindern in Kamerun, meiner Heimat, die ohne Eltern aufwachsen müssen. Seit über 10 Jahren gibt ihnen Pastor David in einem Kinderheim ein Zuhause, liebevolle Betreuung und – dank der Hilfe von Freiwilligen – sogar eine schulische Ausbildung direkt vor Ort.

Warum das so wichtig ist? In Kamerun kostet der Schulbesuch normalerweise zwischen 150 und 200 Euro pro Jahr und Kind – ein unüberwindbares Hindernis für viele. Im Heim ist die Schule kostenlos, aber die Lehrer:innen müssen dennoch bezahlt werden. Jede Spende ist also direkt eine Investition in die Zukunft dieser Kinder.

Seit ich 2021 von diesem Heim erfahren habe, unterstütze ich es regelmäßig mit dem, was ich kann: mit Essen, Kleidung und kleinen Geschenken. Doch jetzt plane ich etwas Großes!

Anfang 2026 werde ich endlich selbst nach Kamerun reisen und das Heim zum ersten Mal besuchen. Ich möchte nicht mit leeren Händen kommen, sondern den Kindern eine konkrete, materielle Hilfe bringen, die ich vor Ort besorgen und mit Freunden direkt ins Heim bringen werde. So stelle ich sicher, dass eure Hilfe genau da ankommt, wo sie gebraucht wird.

Viele Kinder schlafen derzeit zu zweit in einem Bett oder sogar auf dem blanken Boden – das ist weder hygienisch noch kindgerecht. Gemeinsam können wir das ändern und ihnen nicht nur das Nötigste, sondern auch ein Stück Würde und Geborgenheit schenken.

Aujourd'hui, je souhaite partager avec vous une cause qui me tient particulièrement à cœur. Il s'agit de l'histoire d'environ 50 enfants au Cameroun, mon pays d'origine, qui ont dû grandir sans leurs parents. Depuis plus de 10 ans, le Pasteur David leur offre un foyer, un accompagnement bienveillant et – grâce à l'aide de bénévoles – même une scolarisation directement sur place.

Pourquoi est-ce si important ? Au Cameroun, l'école coûte normalement entre 150 et 200 euros par an et par enfant – une somme insurmontable pour beaucoup. Dans l'orphelinat, l'école est gratuite, mais il faut malgré tout payer les enseignants. Chaque don est donc un investissement direct dans l'avenir de ces enfants.

Depuis que j'ai découvert cet orphelinat en 2021, je le soutiens régulièrement avec ce que je peux : de la nourriture, des vêtements et de petits cadeaux. Mais aujourd'hui, je veux aller plus loin !

Début 2026, je vais enfin me rendre au Cameroun pour visiter l'orphelinat moi-même pour la première fois. Je ne veux pas venir les mains vides, mais apporter aux enfants une aide matérielle concrète que je me procurerai sur place et apporterai directement à l'orphelinat avec l'aide d'amis. Ainsi, je m'assure que votre aide arrive exactement là où elle est needed.
