Hi, my name is Anjona Datta, and I am the President and Founder of the Kind Reach Foundation, a newly incorporated nonprofit dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations across Canada. After receiving kindness from volunteers throughout my own life and giving back with over 3,500 volunteer hours, I felt called to start an organization that continues that same spirit of compassion on a larger scale. Our first campaign focuses on helping women and children in domestic violence shelters in major Canadian cities. While many shelters receive food donations, they often lack essential items such as pyjama sets, hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant), and mental-health comfort kits that we are preparing with items like notebooks, pens, stress balls, socks, skincare products, and donated books. We are currently raising funds in Calgary and Toronto through community centres, religious institutions, medical clinics, and online through this GoFundMe, which will help us purchase and assemble these items for shelters in need. Your support will allow us to bring dignity, comfort, and hope to women and children who are rebuilding their lives.
