Kin to Alelica (Help Kin get to America)

Hi,

My name is Gong and I am currently the manager and trainer at Jubilee Hall PDX, which is a non-profit coffee shop that helps new arrivals to the US to get a job and English training in a real-world setting. I moved to the States in January 2020, right before Covid hit to seek a new life in the US and pursue my coffee professional career. I have since worked hard to make a living and support my family in Thailand, all the while working on papers to get them to join me. I had no idea how long it was gonna take or how expensive it was gonna be.

After 3 long years of hard work and a painful wait, we just had our applications approved for my wife and son to come to Portland Oregon. Our interview is scheduled for April 20, 2023. I will be traveling to Thailand then to reunite with them and bring them over here. This means that there are going to be extra expenses apart from the normal daily needs.

I need $4200 to cover traveling expenses (one round trip ticket for myself from PDX to Bangkok and two one-way tickets for my wife and son to PDX) and living expenses while I am unable to work.
