12 years ago, I started a special project in memory of my father A”H — buying fruit & veg before Pesach and selling it at half price what we pay, so families in need can shop בדרך כבוד.

I personally with a team of askonim, go to the fruit & veg market and buy everything at cost or even below cost, so families receive top-quality produce for a fraction of the price.

It began with just a few dozen families and a manageable cost. For many years, I funded it myself. But as prices have risen and the number of families has tripled and more, it’s reached a point where I can no longer continue without asking others to take part.

A typical Yom Tov shop can cost over £500. Through this project, families get everything they need for just £100–£150.

Every £1 you give saves a family £3, and gives me the strength to continue this beautiful mitzvah.
