It feels appropriate that Giving Tuesday falls on the day after what would have been my sister's 46th birthday. When she passed away at 32, she left behind three children, the youngest of whom was her seven month old daughter. In her honor, we would like to raise funds for empowerHer, an organization which provides activities, mentors, and support, for girls who have lost their mothers.
