Hi, my name is Kimberley and I am fundraising so that i can do a volunteering experience in Sri Lanka. The objectives of this trip are:

1. Unlock the potential of under-privileged children in rural communities.

2. Rehabilitate and regenerate the local environment.

3. protect and repopulate indigenous wildlife.

4. utilise volunteering to maintain and develop projects.

Over the course of the trip, I will take part in the following programmes:

1. Marine and Wildlife Conservation - beach cleaning, replanting trees in the rainforests, building artificial nests and rehabilitating and raising sea turtles.

2. English Development - working with children age 3-5 to help support them in learning English and also repainting and decorating classrooms

3. Sports Development - lesson planning, delivering fun and interactive sports sessions and maintaining sports facilities.
