I’ve been here before and the ‘gofundme’ was set up too late, my good friend lost her life before she could complete her bucket list.

My mum has stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasised to her bones - she has 2 tumours in her spine, 2 tumours in her ribs, her right shoulder is Lytic (holes in the bones) and left shoulder is sclerotic (bones become denser) and 2 fractured ribs…this is why she is in a huge amount of pain all the time.

Mums cancer journey started over 15 years ago with a lump in her breast, they got the correct margins and removed the lump, fast forward to 2023 and she found another lump in the same breast, they decided to do a double mastectomy and gave mum the all clear.

Fast forward to 2025, mum wasn’t “all clear” in fact some cancer cells had travelled around and spread the cancer to other parts giving us a diagnosis of cancer that cannot be cured.

my mum is a wonderful person, she will do anything for anyone if she can, she is a huge lover of anything that grows/lives from plants to animals and she doesn’t deserve the card that she has been dealt.

I’ve started this gofundme to hopefully enable my mum to firstly visit Canada to spend a good amount of time with my brother and to see her grandson whom she has only met once.

and secondly to make sure she ticks everything off her bucket list.
