Kilmacow Sports Complex 2025 Upkeep & Maintenance

The Sports Complex here in Kilmacow is a wonderful and very unique amenity to have on our doorstep. Title to all the lands of Sports Complex has now been secured for the Community and Clubs based there and all associated debt and mortgages have now been cleared. The Committee would like to acknowledge and “Thank Everyone” in the Community for all their help and support and the commitment of our volunteers which makes this wonderful amenity available for everyone locally.

The day to day running, and maintenance cost for the facility extend to €17,000 per annum and each year when finances allow, we try to progress some additional improvement works to the facility.

In common with previous years the Clubs will again meet almost all of the day to day running costs of the Sports Complex and as always they will be to fore front in volunteering their time towards the upkeep, maintenance and management of the amenity. However we will need to fund raise for our additional spend & projects and to this end we are again asking for your support in a 2025 “Go Fund Me” campaign. We are conscious of the demands made on people at this time and we are very appreciative of all the help we have received to date, but without your ongoing financial help we will not be able to maintain and develop the amenity as you would want us to do.

Donations can be for any amount and can be made anonymously if that is your wish. Our target this year is €8,000 and be assured that every euro donated will be put to work towards maintaining and improving the Sports Complex.
