I am doing the 2km Gaelforce open water swim in Killary Fjord, Co Galway, on 9th September in memory of my father David who sadly passed away in December from pancreatic cancer.

I want to raise money for the hospice who cared for Dave and supported us making his last months and weeks with us as comfortable as they could have been. He was able to be at home and spend his last valuable moments us by his side. I cannot put into words how much this meant to us and to my mother in particular.
