The Shaker High Food Pantry is a student-led food bank that collects and distributes back-packs full of food to students and families throughout the North Colonie district. We usually pack the bags full with food during school, however, NY has been hit pretty badly by COVID-19. Consequently, Covid-19 has disastrously slowed down our food collection process and there are still kids all over our community that are still hungry. North Colonie bus drivers are currently delivering our stock, so your donations will still be a huge help. We will continuously be getting the food to whomever needs it, even through the Summer. However, after the summer, our supply will run very low. Without the ability to run food drives in school, we are very worried about the future of our bank. We also want to expand our reach throughout the community,not just our school district. To do that, and to keep our supplies high, we are asking for your donations so we can buy food to resupply or pantry. Any amount helps and we really appreciate your support. Thank you.
