Hello my name is Norma, I’m setting up this account for our family. My husband is Victor Anaya age: 49. He is in stage 5 of kidney failure. We have been battling this disease for about 10yrs now. We are exactly 1yr in with his treatment (Peritoneal Dialysis) It has turned our lives upside down in every way. We have been married for 24yrs. 5/25/23 HE GOT THE CALL! He has a LIVING kidney donor! We do not know the other person, but none of that matters. What does is that he has a chance to regain a normal lifestyle. He has a chance to live a longer life. We will have to travel to DFW area & he can not come home for at least 4 months. We leave June 4,2023 because surgery is scheduled for June 6, 2023. Before anything we ask for prayers for a healthy recovery so we can bring him home as soon as he is released to do so. Lastly we will have to rent a home or Hotel for the entire time he is there along w/other expenses. This is not what I wanted to do but it’s the most logical thing to do at such a short notice. Anything helps & everything is appreciated from the heart. Thank you in advance. Please keep my family in your prayers. This has effected even our kids Izaak & Briannah.
