Kidney transplant donor expenses

Donation protected

UPDATE!!!!!   Dear friends And family,

I’m happy to announce that we found a match for my sister. Unbelievably another one of our sisters will be the donor!

We are humbly asking for help in covering post surgery
expenses of the donor since she will  be out    of work for at least 3 months.    This is a long waited journey that will soon come to an end. My sister will be in surgery this coming Thursday. As a family we already covered the expenses for the month of February since the donor barely work due to testing. We are looking to cover the post surgery expenses  which total around $12,000.  Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

 friends and family,

I am reaching out to you all with the hope that you can help me share this post. Over the course of the last few years, my sister has been suffering with abnormalities in kidney function that went unrecognized and untreated until recently, when it was finally diagnosed and she was found to be in complete kidney failure, requiring a kidney transplant.

During this time, she has suffered much pain and many symptoms. However, the worse part of it all is the impotence and the everyday uncertainty. her battle is constant. She has been through several surgeries and has started suffering from complications related to her kidney issues.

Getting regular dialysis treatments three times a week for 3 hours at a time, is keeping her alive. She looks forward to the day of not being tired or weak and can live a somewhat normal life. At this time she is in need of a kidney transplant, however, finding a kidney for a transplant is not easy. Time is not on her side. Some wait for years; many die while waiting. The average wait time is five years or more for a kidney from a deceased donor. Another option is receiving a kidney from a living donor.

My sister has 3 children, two of which depend entirely on her as they are ages 9 and 13. They pray everyday that their mom is fine and that she can continue to be there for them giving them the love and care they need as children. A kidney from a living donor can save her life. The faith and hope have always been by her side as she has won many battles throughout this process. Everyday she prays God gives her the strength to get out of bed to care for her and her little ones.. Please be a donor, you may save her life.

If you have it in your heart to be a living donor, please complete the form at www.tgh.org/livingdonorform
her information is : Diana Dominguez and her date of birth is 10/15/1969.

Transplant costs are covered by her insurance, and the information you share will be kept confidential with the transplant team. Please Like and Share this post on your own page, maybe there is a heart somewhere so big that may be willing to give my
sister a second chance at life and to her kids the blessing of having their mom. to be a donor is a the biggest blessing of life, to know that a part of you was able to save a life, please be the angel my sister needs.
