Kicks for Kidz

During these hard to deal with times, families in our community are struggling to prepare for the new school year. Over the last five years, Joy Corporation and my family have helped donate school supplies and sneakers to assist Kicks for Kidz. Kicks for Kidz was started out of the compassionate need to give back to the community, just as so many people gave to our family when we were growing up. We remember my grandmother's challenges in purchasing clothing and shoes for ten children, and we wanted to make this burden a little lighter for others, especially single parent households. So each year, we endeavor to donate as many sneakers or gift cards from shoe stores to help others. On August the 7th, at 3 PM at Rollins Road Park, we'd like to provide sneakers for at least 100 needy children. Please consider donating to this cause to help us reach this goal. If 100 people donated at least $40, we could put sneakers on the feet of 100 children. Of course, any contribution amount will be more than welcome and will be used with fidelity for this cause only.
