Kibibi Golden Eagles

Hi, my name is Barbara am fundraising for Kibibi Golden Eagles FC. This is a grassroots football club in Butambala, Uganda, East Africa. My Son Suubi-William visited Kibibi in 2022 fell in love with the area and community. He's got a great love for football and decided to start up the club. This club is in the village, it has bridged racial, and religious divisions and brought people into a union of oneness. Most of the young people were facing unemployment and economic hardships, most had given up hope, dropped out of school, and buried their talents.

Kibibi Golden Eagles are pursuing its zeal to transform the lives of budding Butambala talents and bring people together through football. The club instils confidence and resilience in the young people, empowering them to take charge of their lives and health both on and off the pitch.

The entire team are together and plays for the love of the game. At the moment they are playing on open school fields, open spaces with or without grass this is the setting for their games. Playing with any pair of shoes, not necessarily football boots some are playing without shoes barefoot. Stones and sticks are used as goalposts in some games.

Your assistance however small or big will go a mile in acquiring football kits, securing suitable transportation for travelling to and from away games, training equipment, assistance with school fees for some team members, pitch rentals, purchase home grounds, league fees, medical and start-up the team income-generating scheme.

I strongly believe that all these young people are rough diamonds who if well polished shall shine for the whole of Mpigi, Butambala,Kibibi, Uganda,Africa and humanity.
