Kia Skeen’s divorce

Hello, I'm Alex and I'm reaching out on behalf of my sister Kia. After spending over 10 years in a dead end marriage, Kia has chosen to protect her family by separating herself and the children from her husband by means of divorce. Kia has been working hard going to college full time as well as working full time to help her family succeed. Throughout the years her husband has not been able to provide any form of stability (financial, emotional, or even physical). As many of you know he has been in and out of jail as well as volunteering to stay with his father on the other side of the state for a year. Kia has a good career at this time, but she is unable to afford the divorce due to her husband's drinking and substance abuse. Recently she has been forced to acquire a restraining order due to a violent outburst from her husband. 
We are hoping between family, friends, and kindness from strangers we can support Kia in her mission to leave her husband and create a better life for her children.
