Hello my name is Ken and I’m Sadie’s dad. Sadie was suppose to be my service dog, but after 6 months of intense training I seen her longing to be just our fur baby. She is a complete sweet heart and gentle soul. She has lately become very sick. At first they thought it was Anaplasmosis. Now they are thinking a Gastric situation. I do have pet insurance and it will NOT cover the whole bill. The bill now sits at about 13,000. I do have some in savings but not enough to cover my portion of the bill. One of the reasons the bill is so high is because her protein markers were so low that she needed a plasma transfusion. She is everything to me. She calms my ptsd when triggered and brings me back down. Her prognosis is good and the vets said she’ll make a full recovery. I’ve included a screen shot of the first estimate when she was admitted Saturday. Thank you for your help everyone. What ever I don’t need will be donated to a dog rescue.
