<div>Hi, this is Wanda and I started this Go Fund me page for my oldest sister, Annette,  whom a lot of you may know as Nettie.  Her young kitty is unwell and needs to be taken to the PEI emergency vet ASAP for a potential heart issue. Annette has taken her kitty to the local vet several times regarding this issue and they are limited in what tests they are able to perform.

<div>Her kitty is exhibiting signs of stress with open mouth, breathing, panting, high heart rate at rest and her blood work has indicated stress on her heart.

<div>For anyone who knows my sister, you know what a wonderful, caring person she is. She is always the first to lend a hand to anyone in need without ever asking for anything in return. She finds it very difficult to ask anyone for help. I know this firsthand from trying to give her help myself.

<div>She is a single income household trying to make a go of things in this crazy world today.

<div>Upon talking to the PEI vet, the cardiologist wants to do numerous tests, which could right now run upwards of minimum of $1000. She is unsure at this point Willow will require hospitalization, or what other tests she might need.

<div>Nettie is still heartbroken from the loss of her longtime kitty, Sparky who she lost in September 2024 at the age of 14. When Willow showed up as a stray this past winter, Annette, with her loving heart, started to feed and care for this little creature who she has become very attached to. When you live by yourself, there’s nothing more wonderful than the love of a pet.

Help with Willow’s emergency vet bills

<div>Hello my name is Ken and I’m Sadie’s dad. Sadie was suppose to be my service dog, but after 6 months of intense training I seen her longing to be just our fur baby. She is a complete sweet heart and gentle soul. She has lately become very sick. At first they thought it was Anaplasmosis. Now they are thinking a Gastric situation. I do have pet insurance and it will NOT cover the whole bill. The bill now sits at about 13,000. I do have some in savings but not enough to cover my portion of the bill. One of the reasons the bill is so high is because her protein markers were so low that she needed a plasma transfusion. She is everything to me. She calms my ptsd when triggered and brings me back down. Her prognosis is good and the vets said she’ll make a full recovery. I’ve included a screen shot of the first estimate when she was admitted Saturday. Thank you for your help everyone. What ever I don’t need will be donated to a dog rescue.

<div>Koda's surgery went longer than anticipated. She needed to be intubated due to the heavy sedation and length of time. The findings are attached. This little girl is going to have to return to the clinic every week to be sedated to remove more quills. We will also be removing "tips" with at hone with a tool and direction provided by the vets. The entire team was wonderful and very compassionate toward exhausted people and pups. Naturally 3 of 4 of her search team was in the room with them. They have extended family now, The following is the tally so far. Invoices and receipts will be posted on the Facebook page as well as here on the fundraiser.

<div>Koda and Rocky are an 8 month old sibling pair of great dane x great pyrenees pups who were surrendered to Serenity Acres Family Ranch due to severe medical needs. Koda has a face full of porcupine quills and a urinary tract infection. Rocky has entropion eye lids. Unfortunately the rescues we normally foster for are only able to accept pure bred dogs. Although they are cheering us on. They are not able to provide vet care for the pair so we are going to take up the challenge through the ranch. We have incredible volunteers to assist with care but it's going to be expensive. The sibling pair have a vet appointment tomorrow morning for Kodas surgery and Rocky's eye assessment. Although we know all care will be in the thousands. We are currently asking for help with the vet deposit which is $500 per pup. We are asking because we are crunched for time to get them in on short notice. The vet clinic is allowing us to make a deposit for each and then continue to make payments. We can increase the amount to full care once we find out what that involves in case folks would like to assist further. Vet receipts will be posted online following each appointment to show the care that has been provided and the full cost. Once each pup has been given a clean bill of health. They will be placed up for adoption. Donations will help offset adoption fees so fees will not be so high that they can not be adopted.

<div>Our ranch would normally not ask for help with such a case but has sustained some very hard hits this year. Our home, barn and driveway were damaged with heavy flooding July 22 &amp; 23rd. After paying over $8000 per year for insurance, our claims were denied after months of trying to keep mould from spreading throughout our home. Our insurance does not cover ground water so after many months of lost business and having to pay out of pocket for substantial damages. We need to ask for your help. <div>for those of you who don’t know me, my name is Kayla and I am a full time Equine Dentist. This holiday season, I am quietly raising money to support a friend and client who has poured her heart and financial funds into her horse Blackjack.

<div>Blackjack was diagnosed with a fractured molar and sinus infection in August of 2023. What was proposed to be a very efficient surgery and easy recovery for Blackjack, has been anything but. After multiple trips back to the Myhre Clinic, drains, plugs, and several rounds of antibiotics he may finally be on the road to recovery. His human mama on the other hand has been left with unexpected financial hardships.

<div>Maya is a very loved 7 year old German Shepherd that my family rescued when she was 10 months old. She has never had any health issues up until 3 months ago when her health began to decline rapidly. She was first diagnosed with a UTI, which was treated with antibiotics. She began to get better, then quickly lost 10 pounds within a months time. After multiple vet visits, scans, medication, rest, and more antibiotics, it still has been undetermined where her infection is stemming from. She’s currently staying at an emergency vet after displaying vestibular issues- her eyes moving back and fourth constantly without stopping. Overnight after seeing a vet this previous Friday, she was unable to walk, drink, eat, or stand up. They are concerned she may have a brain tumor, cancer, or may have had a stroke. We never ask for help, and are setting our pride aside to do so. But after many vet visits and thousands of dollars we wanted to see if it was possible to raise money for her latest vet bill. The bill does seem to keep growing as they do more testing, but anything helps. We truly love Maya and want to fight for her and do all we can to heal her. She’s loved by so many people and a member of our family. Anything helps, thank you..
