KHS Sophomore Class Food and Fuel Drive
Tax deductible
Kents Hill School's Faculty and Student annual Food and Fuel Drive will run from November 18th to November 30th. This campaign raises money that is distributed to three community partners who provide assistance for food, fuel, and housing in our local area. Our partners are the Readfield United Methodist Church (fuel assistance), the Mount Vernon Area Food Pantry (food assistance), and the United Methodist Economic Ministry (food pantry, clothing, fuel, and emergency shelter). Since we started this program, we have raised over $61,000 to help our neighbors who may be struggling with food insecurity and other issues related to poverty. In this pandemic, many in our community are feeling the struggle from illness and unemployment as businesses are shut down and costs are rising. For us, this is an important part of our Community Engagement Program.
Your donation to this fund will aid the Class of 2023 in attaining their Food and Fuel fundraising goal.
