Khoi's Grad Gift

Hey y'all!

Our favorite fish is graduating (!!) and I thought he might appreciate a gift from all of us.

He's told me before that his favourite gifts are the useful ones, because while in use, the gift reminds him of the person who gave it. I'd like to harness that power into something where he can think of all of us, our support for him, and this epic milestone.

Here's the pitch: a fancy, swanky pen.

Khoi has had a Mont Blanc pen on his "someday, far, far away" wish list for a while now. It's a luxury item, it's small in size, easy to carry around, akin to say, cufflinks, except this would be something he would use every day. Behind every signature and at every meeting, there would be the weight of a pen with all our names on it.

Khoi and I have visited their storefront, under the guise of "let's just go for fun," and tried out all the different types, so I know exactly which pen he wants (for those interested, it is the Meisterstück Platinum-Coated LeGrand Rollerball).

There will be a card that will get passed around during the party that everybody can sign, which will go along with the pen.

I would like to highlight that there is no expectation for gifts at this party! Please do not feel pressured to contribute. I have put this together so that those who would like to give a gift and are willing to pitch in, are free to add as little or as much as they like and so that there is as much transparency as possible.

If we exceed the amount needed for the pen, the overflow will go towards a secondary gift. I'm open to ideas on this one! Possibly some high-quality Kuiu rain gear or something else hunting/fishing related.
