Dear friends and families, we are fundraising on behalf of Khandy Garza and her family.

On February 29, 2024, Khandy and her three other friends were on their way back from the movie theater. Once they reached exit 48, near the BP gas station, a truck appeared to be exiting the gas station. Instead of turning to the right, they turned to the left on a one-way street. The driver in the same vehicle as Khandy and her three other friends seemed to be confused by the truck driver's actions but they proceeded to stay in the lane they were in, avoiding the truck. However, the truck started to go towards them and in an attempt to avoid a hit from the truck, the driver swerved to the left. Unfortunately, the truck still hit the car, more specifically the passenger seat in which Khandy was seated. This accident left her with severe injuries and facing a long road to recovery. This was very unexpected and hard for her very close ones. Khandy has always been a great person willing to help so now it’s our turn to help her and her family. We are making this GoFundMe on behalf of Khandy to help with the hospital expenses, your prayers and contributions are very appreciated in these moments.
