Hi, my name is Amy and I’m raising funds for Khaled Mohamed Alsaidi to escape Gaza and be reunited with his wife and children. Eighteen months ago, Khaled managed to get his wife and children out of Gaza, but he couldn’t leave himself and has not seen them since.
Right now, it is impossible for Khaled to leave Gaza due to the ongoing blockade and extreme conditions, but our hope is that these funds will help cover the costs for him to reunite with his family once it is safe and possible to leave. In the meantime, the funds will also support his wife and children with housing, food, and other essential needs, helping them stay safe and stable until Khaled can join them.
Israel’s assault on Gaza is widely described as a genocide, with relentless bombings, mass displacement, and deliberate deprivation of food, water, and medical care targeting an entire civilian population. Families have been wiped out, children make up a heartbreaking portion of the casualties, and entire neighbourhoods have been reduced to rubble. This is not just the tragedy of war—it is the systematic destruction of a people’s ability to live, rebuild, and exist in their homeland.

The war has not only devastated our lives, but I was also the victim of fraud, losing all my life savings while trying to secure a safe escape for my family. As a result, I lost everything.
To make matters worse, my home was destroyed, along with the commercial properties I owned. I have been left with nothing - no shelter, no source of income. I now face unimaginable circumstances, struggling to provide even the bare minimum for my children and wife.
This fundraiser aims to secure the basic necessities for my children and wife and cover the costs needed to reunite us as a family once again.
The funds raised will be used to:

Cover the rent for a home to ensure we have stability and safety until we are reunited.
Pay for travel and necessary arrangements to reunite our family.
