My dear friend is in the final weeks of her pregnancy and facing an incredibly tough situation. The father of her baby was recently detained due to his immigration status, and now she’s fighting to keep him from being deported so he doesn’t miss the birth of their child.

Her pregnancy has come with complications, and she hasn’t been able to work as many hours. She’s struggling to cover mounting legal fees, rent, and basic living expenses as she prepares to bring a baby into the world—without the support she was counting on.
