Hello. My name is Mikki Adams, I am an Aunty to my niece Nicole Outchikat who was diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome at age 10, her Mom knew there was something wrong for some time.

Diagnosed with colon cancer at 14 on Jan 30, 2014 Nicole had colectomy and iliectomy , spent a year with a stoma. Age 15 she had major surgery to take out stoma, prosthetic used as intestine so she can poop "normally". Spent 4 weeks in hospital to recover. Nicole had no support from school on her schooling during that entire time.

Then Diagnosed with stage 3 aggressive brain cancer on Jan 30, 2019. Nicole found out she was pregnant before radiation and chemo was to start. She was advised to abort the pregnancy as it will shorten her life significantly and baby would live a long life without her. But, thankfully Nicole was too strong willed and went ahead with her pregnancy. However, had to get induced at 8 months as the tumors were growing. Nicole had to get an appointment for induction to find put she was already 2 cm dilated. Baby Elliott must've known mommy needed to get better. They gave her one month with baby the started the radiation and chemo.

As of now, chemo doesn't work anymore and they’re looking at just pain relief. Right now she has 4 tumors, 2 active. The non active tumors However had a flare up in size and at the moment have stopped treatment.

Time is of the essence and I as her Aunty will be giving her and her son a road trip experience from Thompson to Ottawa so she and her son Elliott now 3 can spend some time in Ottawa with family and friends. I hope to give her an experience they’ll never forget. Here’s your chance to help her/us make that dream come true.

We are seeking donations to help with expenses and to provide Nicole with some spending money as she is also a single Mother. I will be leaving Ottawa on Tuesday Jan 24th and should be in Thompson by Friday morning where I’ll spend the day and then head back w Nicole and Elliott Saturday morning.

She and her son Elliott will be with me in Ottawa for about four weeks and then will be doing the road trip back to Thompson Mb in March where I will work remotely from there for a couple weeks before making the drive back to Ottawa.
