Kevin’s Triple Bypass. Please Help Support
Donation protected
I am creating this fundraiser to help support the Neal Family in an extremely difficult time. The Neal’s are an incredibly generous and giving family and they have been faced with some serious challenges the last few years. Just two years ago Kevin was faced with having to amputate his left leg from the knee down.
With the support of friends and family and his Wife, Laura to lean on, he made an incredible recovery.
As I type this, Kevin is undergoing a triple bypass heart surgery. In typical fashion, his attitude is super positive, looking forward to relief and recovery. He is one of those people that always finds the silver lining.
I have known Kevin and his family for over 20 years, first meeting him when I has just 19 years old. His mentorship has been a huge part of any successes that I have had since. The Neal’s are a family that helps, through all of my greatest struggles in my adult life, they have been there to help pick up the pieces and help guide me through. I am a better father, a better artist, a better leader and a better man, by having them in my life- and I know that I am not the only person that has been influenced by Kevin’s mentorship and the Neal’s kindness.
However, the one thing I’ve never known them to do, is ask for help. In fact, Laura’s response when I asked permission to create this fundraiser was that ‘so many other people need help more’. Even as doctors prepare to open her husbands chest to replace 3 arteries in his heart with veins from his leg, she considers the needs of others.
The Neal’s have had a challenging few years between Kevin’s amputation and recovery from that- just as things start to smooth out, they are now faced with a triple bypass heart surgery that will undoubtedly incur a lot of expenses; from medical to missed wages etc. Recovery will likely mean he won’t be able to return to work before the end of the year.
Funds raised will go directly to The Neal Family to help cover medical expenses that aren’t covered by insurance and to help replace or offset loss of wages during recovery.
