Kevin's Journey to Secure a New Home

Hi, my name is Kevin. I consider myself a good person. All my life, I've always helped others and put other people who needed help before myself.

Unfortunately, during these hard times to survive and keep my family fed, clothed, and a roof over their heads, I got myself in debt. We lost our place of living and are currently residing in my parents' basement and are seeking to move. Due to my credit score being so low and having multiple accounts going to collections, I can't even find a place to live. I promised my parents I'd move out ASAP due to how much of a strain having themselves and a whole other family living in a 2-bedroom house.

I'm not proud of asking for help, and it's a hit to my pride, especially knowing I dug this grave potentially for my family.

Every time we think we get ahead, we fall back 3 steps. Car accident, hurt my back at work which caused me to miss a few months of full pay, and my children are constantly sick, most likely due to the stress of my situation. I try to keep a positive attitude and hide my depression from my kids. I truly do. It's just so hard.
