Kevin and Laura Butler are two extraordinary young people - who are much-loved by our entire community. Their deep and abiding faith in Christ Jesus is completely obvious in the ways they love unselfishly and unconditionally, and in the ways they forge meaningful and lasting relationships with their friends/neighbors here in Thomas County. Already a family of three (following the birth of their precious daughter Michaela), Keven and Laura recently shared with all of us the exciting news that they are once again pregnant - miraculously, this time, with twins. The twins are here - PRAISE GOD - but have been born 14 weeks before their expected due date. Because of complications, they were delivered via emergency c-section. The babies were immediately whisked away to the Phoebe Putney neonatal unit in Albany, Georgia, while Laura is left here to recuperate from serious birthing complications. This is a hard-working, prepared family, but their unexpected medical costs are going to dramatically surpass the range of their solid health insurance coverage. We Butlers (Jami, Lauren, and myself) are therefore calling on all of our beloved friends, family, and neighbors to support an ambitious and appropriate monetary support fund for this amazing family.
