Kesha's Road To Recovery

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Shameka and I am Kesha's sister. Kesha is a wife, mother, sister, and daughter, as well as an educator in the Guilford County school system. She is loved by many and truly has a heart of gold. She is a graduate of WSSU and was in the last year of her master's program at NCAT.

On December 12, what she thought would be just a normal school day, Kesha suffered a brain bleed from an aneurysm that burst in her brain, which in turn caused her to suffer a heart attack. The doctors were convinced that she would not survive this traumatic injury. BUT GOD! Kesha pulled through and survived the procedure to coil the aneurysms as well as hemicraniectomy (removal of half of her skull) to allow room for swelling. FOR THAT ALONE WE ARE GRATEFUL!

After brain surgery, she began to experience vasospasms, which are the narrowing of blood vessels in her brain. Due to this, She had to undergo 3 angiograms which are diagnostic procedures to look closely at the vessels. She had to have interventions that included injecting medicine to help the vessels relax in her head and a ballooning procedure to keep vessels from constricting to allow for proper blood flow.

Currently, she is stable and on a ventilator to help with her breathing. Doctors are predicting a long road to recovery which is why I am creating this to support and provide some relief for her husband and children on this journey.

We are believing God for the FULL MANIFESTATION of her healing no matter how long it takes. She has 3 school-age children in the home ages 5, 10, and 16 and 2 adult children. If you feel it in your heart to give, no amount is too small. Thank you in advance for your support and may the Lord return it to you and yours one-hundredfold.
